Web Developer

Responsibilities will include designing and developing content authoring, organizing, social and fundraising tools, working with third-party web services and SDKs, and working closely with designers, organizers, fundraisers, and content creators as we experiment with interactive, mobile or data visualization applications.

The successful candidate will be capable of developing a system from beginning to end: he or she will be responsible for gathering requirements, developing mid level services, and applying them to a front-end UI and database modeling. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses strong technical skills, is a self starter with excellent problem-solving skills, thinks strategically, and can collaborate well with others. Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience if you are self-taught
  • Programming experience in C#/ASP.Net 3.5
  • Solid experience with presentation layer technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
  • Ability to consume and transform structured data formats such as XML and JSON
  • Knowledge in database design and SQL
  • A passion for web standards, the best UI/UX practices, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with RIA tools such as Flash would be a plus
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a plus

Enterprise Technical Architect

The Role:
-We are seeking candidates in the WMA (Washington Metro Area) area only at this time
-Qualified candidates must be stronger in corporate EA (for like federal integrators) vs. government and have worked in a similar role for like companies. The EA will provide a robust, cost effective, and secure IT Architecture serving the needs of a variety of stakeholders. The individual will provide a mix of enterprise architectural expertise and hands-on experience in the development and implementation of the solution. Past experience should include working within a corporate IT environment in organizations similar to our client. This position requires an individual with excellent interpersonal skills able to work with the various corporate support and line organizations.

Duties are but not limited to:
- Identify technologies and tools to implement the critical elements of the enterprise architecture. Research, analyze, design, propose and deliver solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies.
- Provide overall direction, guidance and definition of SRA’s technical architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy and increase operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to establish and maintain and communicate a technical enterprise roadmap.
- Create, apply and evolve an enterprise architecture with a clearly defined business value and ROI based on SRA’s IT strategy.
- Reduce overall complexity, increase agility, and drive our client’s long term IT strategy.
- Interface across all business areas and IT organization, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects and ensuring consistent implementation and operation of current projects
- Identify solutions, build consensus, and execute effectively through an established common enterprise architecture vision amongst architects and IT project leaders.
- Provide leadership to highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.

Required Skills:
- Ability to facilitate the collection of business requirements and document them both in IT and business terms with cost estimates of effort and resources

- Service oriented architecture implementation and governance experience
- ERP implementation and operational experience including advanced reporting and document management.
- Experience architecting and deploying enterprise network architecture, including ensuring network adheres to network security best-practices

Summary of Position:
